Yes, yes, yes – I know I’ve said it before, but Saturday’s wedding really was epic. Insane, in fact.
Once again, I knew the bride in question. In fact I more than just know her and her family, but I actually full-on love them. We’ve known each other for years, I’ve adopted her parents as my own second set, and one of her younger sisters is one of by besties. The poor family just can’t shake me.
And thankfully, it appears they don’t want to get rid of me quite yet, because Sam and her gorgeous fiance, Duncan, asked me to shoot their wedding. Errrr, pressure! But of course, I couldn’t resist.
And thank flip I didn’t! Because this entire wedding (even from the seriously unwelcome 6.30am start time) was sensational. I’m not even going to bother trying to describe how heart-meltingly lovely both sides of the families are. Or how much effort went into the all the little touches and details (and the big ones, to! Shout out to Georgie for her spectacular cake making skills!). Or how much fun I had dancing the night away and doing inebriated push-ups in front of the wedding party. Oh, and did I the bouquet toss? Simply unforgettable. All of it.
So in my usual fashion, here’s this week’s wedding round up to give you a little taster of Sami and Duncan’s big day.
